Asia Economic History Webinar Series: LSE Details
- Venue :
- London School of Economics
- City :
- Country :
- United Kingdom
This series is dedicated to developing a better understanding of economic history within the Asian continent, where in-depth discussion with colleagues knowledgeable in the field can provide insight for the paper. Every month, a paper will be presented and discussed for the purpose of further development and improvement of the field. Webinars will be hosted online via zoom due to Covid-19 concerns. Applicants therefore do not have to be in London to present as part of the series.
As the webinar is designed to help academics develop their work, it is not necessary that the paper/project is completed when presenting. However, it would be preferable if applicants can show some preliminary results as well as their methodology to get the best out of the session.
Applicants are required to provide the following information (preferably in the same format below):
- Full Name
- Position/Degree and Year of Study
- Preferred Month(s) for presenting: [Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, April, May, Jun]
- Paper/Project Title
- Abstract (300 words max.)
- Methodology (100 words max)
All applications must be submitted by end of day on the 15 September 2020. To apply, please email the applications as an attached word document to email@example.com.
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by the end of September 2020. Any questions regarding the seminar series or the application process can be sent to Safya Morshed.
