Standing Conference of Representatives of departments of economic and social history

The Council of the Economic History Society recently agreed that the standing conference would cease to hold regular meetings and would be convened on an ad hoc basis, as specific issues arise.  No conferences are currently planned.  Please contact Maureen Galbraith if there are any issues which you feel should be discussed at a future meeting.
