EHS Teaching Podcasts
The Economic History Society exists to support research and teaching in economic and social history. We take the teaching part of this mission seriously. We are especially keen to reach out to younger students and show them how vibrant and interesting economic and social history is! Another of the Society’s aims is to establish closer relations between students and teachers of the subject and in this spirit we try to provide cutting-edge teaching aids that can be used in the classroom or as secondary resources. Hence, our new initiative: teaching podcasts. These new shorter podcasts provide lively accounts of important topics in economic and social history. They are presented and written by experts so they introduce up to the minute research findings as well as provide good overviews. Teaching packs which survey the relevant literature are also available. We hope that members find the podcasts useful but above all enjoyable!
