The Economic History Society will consider applications for grants – normally of up to £500 – to assist postgraduate students (Master's Degree and PhD) in United Kingdom colleges and universities with travel and subsistence expenses incurred in the undertaking of research into any aspect of economic and social history.  Applications should be made, supported by a supervisor's statement, to the Honorary Secretary, via the administrative secretary. Information concerning any attempts to obtain matching support from other sources should be submitted. Closing dates for applications are on the first day of each of the following months: February, May, August and November.  It is expected that successful applicants will be, or will become, members of the Economic History Society.
